TNAUK Tape Competitions 2004

Another year and another successful competition. On this occasion there were no monetary prizes, but rather the honour of winning the competitions and the opportunity to be awarded the RAINMARK, if your entry met the following quality standards:

• Reading Quality: your readers speak clearly and fluently, listeners have the impression they are reading accurately and enjoy listening to them.
• Audio Quality: the recording itself is clear and at a consistently audible level.
• Identification and Playability: listeners can tell fairly easily who the recording is from, what it's about, and can play it.
• Navigation and Structure: listeners can understand the layout of the information itself and can "flip" easily to the desired section or jump to the end of a less interesting piece.

TNAUK and COTIS were delighted this year that the panellists commented on the overall high standard of the entries, indicated by the large increase in RAINMARK awards from 20 last year to 47 this time. Very well done indeed to all who participated.
